is there a reason mason doesn’t give out covers with the diploma?

i’ve seen so many schools that have fancy cover folders at their ceremonies. but mason just gives a mock degree scroll and then mails the paper degree without anything else. it’s kinda hard to figure out what to do with my degree other than framing it. i wish mason did diploma covers.

bought a early birdie at dick’s today. upon looking at it when i got home, i noticed a slight paint chip/defect at the top. it’s pretty small but still noticeable. i’m worried it may cause the paint to chip more as i use the bottle. should i exchange for a new one?
