can I double up on 113 and 114 in one semester?
got a 4 on AP Precalc but got a 3 on both AB and BC. I feel confident in both, but I want to know if this is possible or do I have to take them in order one by one

my parents have decided very last minute that they will not pay for living on campus. because of the big beautiful bill i no longer recieve the pell grant like i did last year which has actually doubled tuition. i live in ladysmith. i can either commute or get an apartment. i will live with 6 people if i need to. i really dont want to commute because i fall asleep while driving. i would prefer to live with women/lgbtq people.
hi guys, i’m gonna be living in the flats this fall, and will definitely be getting a parking permit, but i was wondering where visitors could park for overnight stay? my girlfriend and i are long distance, and since this is my first place, i want her to be able to come visit and stay over. i’m just not sure where they’ll be able to park without getting towed (wouldn’t mind paying for the overnight parking too)
I’m wondering if there are any single person private bathrooms on campus? i’m not talking about dorms but just bathrooms in any of the academic buildings that are private.
Don’t have a parking pass, not a student. I’m trying to park my car in the gmu parking decks today. Will anyone check? Given that its july 4th
Hi everyone. I plan on taking Biol 214 this upcoming fall semester. The class is online with the recitation in person. I just want to know the average workload and how the class is set up to help prepare myself.
Hey everyone,
I'm a 25M living in fairfax and looking to head out to some nightclubs or lively bars tonight for the holiday weekend. This is actually my first time ever experiencing the local nightlife scene, so I'm really excited to check it out!
None of my usual crew are free tonight, so I'm looking to either join an existing group or pull together a few people who want to head out together (males or females welcome).
Down for either Clarendon (maybe the Rooftop Bash at Clarendon Ballroom, B Social, or The Renegade) or heading into DC if people prefer that vibe. I'm totally open to suggestions since I'm new to the clubs here!
A bit about me: chill, easygoing, working in software/tech, and just looking to have a fun, safe night, grab a drink, and meet some cool people.
If you or your group are heading out tonight and don't mind a first-timer tag-along, drop a comment or shoot me a DM! Let's link up. 🍻
What’s expected for Comm 101 when it’s fully online? My schedule has a time to “attend” lab but is it mandatory to attend those zoom meetings? I’m a full time employee and basically this is the last required class that stuck around somehow in my undergraduate degree to FINALLY get my diploma. Should I be worried?
Spots filled up fast for a CS class and I’m currently on the 17th spot on a professor I prefer. All other options are also full and only available for waitlisting. This seems like enough students (and demand) to warrant more classes.
Wondering if there is someone to email about it or even kickstart the conversation i guess
Edit: I have already the professor a few months ago but they said it is university capped. Looking for other ways.
Hi guys are the fees in account information before or after scholarship😭😭bc tell me why my semester fee costs a kidney💔💔
Does anyone actually have luck with people buying things from their college registries? I'm a rising Junior so this is my third time putting my Amazon registry out there. I use both my Instagram accounts (Main and Spam) and my Facebook (which I only use for family purposes). It's currently public, so anyone can buy anything. But I have maybe had 1-3 people buy things each year and ending up buy pretty much everything myself last minute.
Is anyone else having this issue? Any tips for making a case for people to buy things?
> be me
> walk to shuttle stop by northern neck
> catch my bus
>driver said nah twin we going to sandy creek
> walk to sandy creek
>bus is still at sandy creek
>driver recognizes me
>you walked here?
> yeah, i thought you said to go sandy creek? (yes bruh im not waiting another 30 minutes because you didnt let me on the bus the 1st time)
TIL i really do belong at mason, for I am mentally challenged.
i only just found out that we still have access to our past courses on canvas and can still go through modules and view submitted assignments and it kinda blew my mind lol i expected that we would still have access to classes we paid thousands for, but i'm not sure why i never explored more to notice that earlier...
anyway, i'm finishing my last course this summer and then i'm graduating, but i still want to access my courses to review and brush up on some skills after graduation. will we still have access to those once we graduate and are no longer active/enrolled students? if not, is there a way to archive/save course content or is that not allowed...
I received my diploma through mail like a week ago and I have been trying to frame it and I'm so very glad that it is vertical 😭. It’s nice and easy to find a frame for it not to mention it’s so PRETTY 😤 I did all that work and I finally get to see it on my wall!!! I see people online with such aesthetic diplomas and mine looks just as good as theirs. So joyous rn😭
the version of the school you imagine before you enroll is never quite the real thing. could be good, could be annoying, could be a tradition or a quirk nobody warns you about. what caught you off guard?
What happens at the virtual orientation exactly? Will I be registering for my classes while talking to my academic advisor? Because, the classes I wanted to go to are alr full but I can’t even register before 21st July so idk how this works😭😭😭
Hi there,
I just applied and sent my transcript to GMU for the Fall 2026 semester as a transfer student — very, very late, I know 🙃. I graduated from NOVA in 2021 with an A.S. in Criminology/Criminal Justice. My GPA is around a 2.9/3.0, and I was wondering when I might hear back regarding my application.
I’m really hoping I can get accepted, but I know the timing is pretty late. Thank you!
