Redundancy but the company has rehired
Recently I went through the redundancy process, i will keep it vague because...Ireland is a small place. I went through the process and was made redundant March 26 I was the only person in the role. At the time I was advised my role was being absorbed by multiple other people in the company. I have since learned a new person has been hired on a contract basis with a very different title, but they are carrying out the same tasks I would have carried out. This has been brought to my attention by former colleagues and also confirmed social media posts.
I was with the company for around 4 years, and I don't know should I should just move on and leave it behind me and focus on finding a new job.
My question is for people who have been through the WRC process how stressful it was and did you regret it afterwards. Those who have experienced the process did you regret it ?
