When did you go public on Socials?
I, 29M, have been on 50mg dose of T for almost four months now and I’ve kept my transition pretty close to the chest so far.
For context my “inner circle”, parents, close family members and best friends were the first to know then eventually my co-workers and then It’s just answering honestly if asked which isnt that often.
I am lucky in the fact that everyone has been beyond awesome and supportive, my boss changed my name on the schedule with no problems (which to be fair is just a shortened version of my birth name), my coworkers don’t act any differently, and my friends are curious but still the same as ever.
However I am extremely reluctant to make public posts whether it be pictures, or posts about Trans topics in general.
I don’t know why either, I just get extreme anxiety whenever I think about it.
Did any of you have or had similar experiences?
