PSA: DO NOT opt for Jio Fiber Postpaid

If you experience issues with speed, latency, or general network performance that they are unable to resolve, they will not provide you with a refund. Their support team often gives contradictory information, and the same is seen from their grievance redressal (appellate) teams. Both Customer Care and Appellate teams rarely respond to emails. While Customer Care may make reassuring promises over calls, nothing is documented, leaving you with no way to hold them accountable. Either they do not know how to solve the issue or they do not want to invest in solving the issue (which is likely IMO). I wasted countless hours talking to their teams. They kept sending the same network engineer again and again even though there was nothing he could do.

Even the cancellation process is exhausing. There will be delays, repeated attempts to persuade you to stay, and in some cases, claims that your service has been cancelled when it actually hasn’t.

Spare yourself the headache, look for a better ISP and make sure to check their T&C before paying.

T&C of Jio Postpaid (or Advanced Rental) mentions that no refunds are possible:

>Advance rental once paid is not refundable on deactivation of the JioFiber connection.

JioFiber Download Ping and Unloaded Ping Issue

So far, everyone I’ve reached out to seems to be experiencing similar ping/latency issues with JioFiber. Is anyone here getting better ping in their location? I live in Delhi NCR, and it’s disappointing that the service quality here is that poor. The latency used to be much better around five years ago
