I absolutely loved “An Academic Affair”

I absolutely loved “An Academic Affair”

I've never felt so many butterflies while reading a book! The chemistry, the romance, and the found family aspect in this book is absolutely top tier!!
Marriage of Convenience is my favourite trope, and while I'm incredibly picky about how it's handled, this story hit every single mark. I loved that they had history, which made their sparring feel so natural. Also, it's so rare to find a Dual POV book, and this one just added to the romance even more.
JONAH, THE MAN THAT YOU ARE??
I'm literally on my knees for this man atp. Seeing him quietly pining for Sadie for years while she remained oblivious and completely focused on her career was literally everything!
Watching Sadie finally realise that what she's been searching for was right in front of her all this time was literally chef s kiss.
The author did a beautiful job of writing about the mundane moments.
It made their relationship and intimacy feel rooted in reality, which only made me root for them more.
I absolutely loved the setting and the overall vibe of this book.
Im literally obsessed and can t wait to dive into Fiona's story!

I do understand the hype of Yesteryear now.

This is such an eerie read, and that's exactly how it's supposed to be, 1 guess.
It's so mind bendinaly confusing and unsettling.
You walk into this book expecting a mind bending, time travelling fantasy of a trad wife, but in the middle of the book, you realise what the author's true intentions are... The book keeps you hooked. You wanna savour every moment of reading it.
The FMC is so unlikeable that you wanna scream at her, and then somehow you understand why she became what she did
I do understand why this has become one of the most talked about books right now in the current environment. It is such a challenging, uncomfortable, and unforgettable read.
100% recommend, and I'm super excited to see Anne Hathaway as Natalie.

What to say of a book that made you cry all the way through.. it's like the author ripped my heart out and kept stomping on it again and again and again.
The most gut wrenching love story I've ever read in my entire life. The yearning, the angst had me floored.
My heart was bleeding with every word every touch every glance..
I love AJ and Noah with my entire being.
There love is so insurmountable and all consuming that it makes you believe in the fact that they'll always find eachother in every universe in every realm.
The writing was impeccable, the story was astonishingly beautiful and mind numbingly heartbreaking.
Go into this book blindly and you won't regret it.
The author truly wrote a masterpiece.

I truly understand that everyone ganged up on her of whatever . What I’ve gathered is kaira and the girls were unhappy with her gameplay which was fair but they shouldn’t have gathered around and bitched about her. Now the whole Simran thing? She didn’t say anything derogatory.. so why is Akanksha behaving like she’s the victim here when her fans are sl*t shaming Simran??
