I am restarting my career after a maternity break. My educational background is MSc Dietetics, and I also have around some years of experience in medical coding. I am currently learning Power BI and would like to build a career in data analytics/BI. Before investing more time into it, I would appreciate some honest advice from people already working in this field.

I am 29 years old from India with a career break after maternity. I have a non-IT background and recently started learning Python. If I study consistently for the next 6–12 months and build projects, is it realistic to get an entry-level Python job in 2027? What skills besides Python should I learn?
