Hi, wondering if anyone in Edmonton has had a good experience getting a prescription GLP1 for weight loss with a BMI that is slightly overweight. For context, I have PCOS and take metformin to help with insulin resistance and cycle regularity. My whole life revolves around food or trying to lose weight, I would really like to experience the GLP-1 reduction in food noise. My family doctor is not supportive and said he could refer me to a “fat acceptance therapist” he would also not refer me to the weight loss clinic.

I don’t want to lie to an online service in case there are issues or pay addition subscription fees. If anyone has a recommendation, that would be appreciated.
