Post-meetup vibes, Cradle of War, and why we still undock

I was following the meetup coverage from home, and it looked like a good time. For those who went, or watched the streams, what were your favorite moments?

Also curious what surprised people the most. Any unexpected reveals, good panel moments, funny stories, or classic EVE players-touching-grass incidents?

The timing was interesting with the Cradle of War news landing for June 9 (in case you need an url: Cradle of War Expansion Launches 9 June | EVE Online). Reactions seem pretty mixed so far, and I get why. It probably is not the update a lot of people were hoping for.

That said, watching the community side of things again was a good reminder that most of what keeps EVE alive is still the players. Fleets, trash talk, weird diplomacy, late-night comms, grudges, scams, and the usual “how did we end up here?” nonsense.

So, what were your best meetup moments? What caught you off guard? And if Cradle of War has you feeling underwhelmed, what is still keeping you logging in?
