Hi all,

I’ve been looking to loose weight and properly tracking calories and my weight since May.

May 8th- June 17th I lost 3kg which I was happy at this rate. However, in the almost month since then I have not lost at all. I weigh myself at my gym, so that days and times differ but I do always before the workout, and I think the slight inconsistency means I don’t worry too much about exact numbers and can just look at the overall.

I am 5”3, currently sitting at 68.5kg. I go to the gym 3 times a week minimum, sometimes 4 and walk for 45 mins minimum on my days off, but I do work an office job so I’m sat all day. I’m eating 1,200-1,500 a day, averaging probably 1,300.

At the gym I stairmaster at level 7 for 30 mins pretty much every single time, if I’m feeling off I’ll do level 6 or 20 mins etc. I then do weighted exercises, two lower body days with one upper, about 45 mins of strength training.

Why have I stopped losing weight? I don’t eat enough protein (i’m working on this- vegetarian so slightly harder) to believe it’s due to muscle gain at the same rate I’m losing weight…

I am starting to think about getting my first dog in the upcoming years, I recently moved out with my partner and we would love a dog, but our current flat is quite small and we will likely wait until we buy a house with a garden.

Anyway- we are quite set on a German Shepard, not 100% sure on working or show line yet but as first time owners (both had family dogs), we want the “predictability” of a breeder rather than rescue, especially for health testing due to the breed.

How is it best to find a reputable breeder (UK)? I’ve found one I liked the look of but a previous Reddit post has me doubting myself but struggling to find other breeders with a lot of info available.

Hi all,

I’m due to start my period at the end of my holiday, so wanting to delay it by a couple of days, what’s the best/ safe method?

-continuously go onto the next pack and skip the break this month

-take two/ three pills from next months pack, have the break (period start after holiday), but then be two/ three pills short next month.

If I did the second, would that mean I would forever have to take a couple from the next months pack to be safe? or can i take less than the whole pack once and be okay?
