Huge golden pothos

passed her at the market and knew she needed to be mine. unfortunately i didn't ask the original owner any questions, but it was set up in a hanging pot, and she suggested I add a pole so it can trail upwards, but i'm not sure where to even start because there's so much plant in it. Should i add a moss pole, wooden plank, or just leave as is? I want to keep growing the leaves large. She will be indoors either in front of the window or under my grow lights. Would appreciate any advice!

What can I do to revive this ginseng ficcus?

His leaves fell off and started growing white stuff on him. We keep him in indirect sunlight and water him when needed once or twice a week, but stopped doing it for a month after he grew the white stuff on him cause we thought he was done for. We regret not trying to do more for him since he is so unique! Is he save-able?

Are fertilizers necessary for plants?

I have 5 flowers that I've had for 2 to 7 years and 2 plants at home, they are all completely healthy and I just water them with tap water with no additional stuff to it. But everywhere i read it says I should put some fertilizer in the water when it's summer or smth, but is it necessary??

🌱📣S.O.S. Resurrection📣🌱

A dear friend brought me this 10 year old peace lily yesterday that was her mother’s who is now passed. I guess it was lookin puny and her dad put it on the front porch, neglected and she desperately wants me to save it. Tropicals & begonias are more my wheelhouse. I’ve researched lighting, humidity, & soil needs. This soil no doubt prob toast no nutrients left.

My question is: once I check out the roots situation and repot it appropriately, do I wait and see if the leaves perk up, or do I cut them off down to nubs where there is new growth to allow the plant to put its energy there? I should’ve taken a pic before I pulled allllll the crispies off.

I really would like to revive Lazarus here for her, so any answers & extra tips I would appreciate so much!!

How to keep plants alive during vacation?

I will be going abroad for a week and I have several plants at home. As its super hot these days and I dont have anyone who can take care of them, what should I do to keep them alive?

Should I water them a lot and put them in the darkest spot of the house where its cooler? But would they rot or die due to lack of sunlight?

Or should I keep them in a semi bright place and just water them quite a bit and hope they somehow survive? What do you suggest?

First time marimo owner

Hihi!!! I just got some marimo (6 babies) but im a bit concerned about the temperature and stuff. Any and all help will be appreciated!!!

I have friends and mutuals who have/had pretty healthy marimo despite this, who I consulted before getting my marimo. They said they kept growing despite being kept in vials and in their offices (hardy little things).

For context, I live in Southeast Asia (avg temps are like 31-32°C during the day, maybe 25-26°C at night). After seeing the actual temperature range required for marimo to survive and thrive, I got concerned (but I don't know if I'm worrying incessantly)

For now I'm keeping them in the fridge to chill since they've shed a tiny bit from the delivery and all that, but I'm wondering if I'd really need to keep them in the fridge for good?

However, I mostly keep the AC on at 24-25°C when I'm in my room (about maybe 7-8 hours in the evening), turning it off for a bit before turning it on again when I sleep (about 5-6 hours in the night).

Really trying to figure out how I can let my little guys live comfortably despite the environmental restraints!!!

What DIY solution would you recommend for cleaning the foliage on my plants?

I heard that cleaning the dust and debris etc on my plants is good on an occasional basis. I personally Don’t feel like whipping out my wallet to purchase something I can make myself, and probably healthier since it would probably be natural. There are a lot of DIY solutions out there online and I am hesitant about what to try. What Diy cleaning solution for cleaning my plants would you recommend?!

Is mint growing on our beach?

Wisconsin-

This looks and smells like spearmint. It wasn’t here last year that I remember but idk how it could have spread through half the shoreline already.

I’ve also never seen this mint growing “wild” in Wisconsin before.

Is my Dieffenbachia/Dumb Cane about to flower?

I noticed this shoot coming from the middle of two of the top leaves. When it puts new leaves out, they are usually from the sides.

Is this the beginning of a flower? If so, what should I do? I never thought this would happen, so I'm excited, but also unsure of the next steps to take.

Any advice would be appreciated! ❤️

Artichoke's parasite??

Hey, so I bought this artichoke there's 15 min of that and asked the seller if the leaves on the bottom were part of the artichoke (the two pots that were to sell had this), but she couldn't answer me, she didn't knew

I still brought the plant bc it seemed pretty cheap and I love artichoke, but I don't know if I should get rid of the plant on the bottom, it really looks different from the leaves that grow up

Sorry if it's not clear to understand, I'm french, I'm kinda struggling in English rn x)

(Also if you have any advises for taking care of this plant in a pot, let me know, I'm putting it on my balcony)

Care advance on this guy ?

Inherited this guy from my aunt, dirt was black, hard as a rock, had a bit of rusted metal stuck in it and with orange roots. I’ve changed the soil out with some fresh potting mix a good bit of perlite and placed it in a fresh up. Gave it a good drink but it’s not woken up and I’m wondering if it’s too late for the poor thing.
