Ladies- if you can try not to do an elective early scan at a boutique ultrasound place . I went in last Wednesday, which I would’ve been 6w and 4 days and they couldn’t see anything on the abdominal scan. I left feeling nervous and scared due to previous miscarriages. Today- 5 days later, I went in for an abdominal ultrasound at my provider office , and my baby was there with a strong heartbeat. I worried for no reason. I know that we are anxious to see babies for a peace of mind, but just try to wait until your initial appointment because these early boutique ultrasound appointments can have you worried for no reason. Sometimes it’s simply just too early to see the baby.
