What is Revolver’s best and most revolutionary song?

Today marks the 60th anniversary of the release of *Revolver*, the album that—in my opinion—changed the history of music. It is a practically perfect record, track by track; every song is a gem. Although "Doctor Robert" might be the weakest link, it is still quite decent, and the rest of the tracks are absolute standouts. They are incredible songs, making it very difficult to choose just one, but in my view, the best is "Tomorrow Never Knows." I have noticed that this song has recently faced some negative criticism, despite being a psychedelic masterpiece and one of the Beatles' finest tracks. It all stemmed from the ideas of a constantly reinventing John Lennon and a George Martin who knew how to bring those visions to life. With its reversed guitar solo, loops, hypnotic drumming, and soundscapes, it is pure psychedelia and, for me, the standout track of this incredible album, one of the best in the history.

“Love You To” Is A BANGER

In my opinion, "Love You To" is a truly magnificent song; in fact, I would go so far as to say it is somewhat underrated, as I consider it a genuine gem.
I love the introduction, where George shines with that incredible-sounding sitar before the main instrumentation of the rest of the track kicks in. George Harrison’s vocal performance is flawless, and the sitar flourishes following the word "me" are splendid; there are also those plucked sitar notes which, while differing from the song's general atmosphere, add a great deal to the track. The sitar solo is excellent, and the way the riff instantly returns—followed by that abrupt, unexpected ending—leaves you wanting more.
The lyrics are wonderful, addressing the brevity of life and the intensity of love with existential lines like "Love me while you can, before I'm a dead old man."
It is a highly original, complex, and creative song, marking George's first major track based on the foundations of Indian music and I don’t understand why People ignore it as if it were a filler track, but in reality, it is a track that is musically and substantially rich.

Is John Lennon's 1966–1967 period the greatest creative peak for a songwriter in the history of modern music?

John Lennon's musical contribution between 1966-1967 is the best prime by a composer in the history of modern music?
songs:
Rain
I'm Only Sleeping
She Said She Said
And Your Bird Can Sing
Doctor Robert
Tomorrow Never Knows
Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds
Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite
Good Morning Good Morning
A Day In The Life
I Am The Walrus
Strawberry Fields Forever
Baby, You're A Rich Man
All You Need Is Love

I honestly think so—that every song has something revolutionary about it—and even the ones that don't seem amazing to the general public (Doctor Robert, Good Morning Good Morning, and Baby, You're a Rich Man) have something that makes them special.

Rain-It is the first song that can be considered to have a psychedelic foundation, and it was revolutionary in its use of the studio and for lyrics that were ahead of their time.

I’m Only Sleeping- It has an atmosphere that makes you feel John's desire to sleep, a really catchy melody, and those reverse guitars that were truly revolutionary.

She Said She Said- Like "Rain," it is a highly revolutionary song in psychedelic rock—considered by some to be one of the best in the genre.

And Your Bird Can Sing- Personally, I love this song; it’s one of my favorites from *Revolver*. That majestic dual-guitar riff played by Paul McCartney and George Harrison gives it a unique style.

Doctor Robert- I would point out that it’s a fun track with that touch of acid, satirical rock, but, in my opinion, it’s the worst track on *Revolver*.

Tomorrow Never Knows- It is the most revolutionary song of 1966, featuring that historic reversed guitar solo; furthermore, I consider it the best song in history with a 100% psychedelic rock foundation.

Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds- In my opinion, it is the second-best song on *Sgt. Pepper's*; it features that Lowrey electronic organ, which lends it a unique mystical and psychedelic touch, and stands as one of the pinnacles of psychedelic rock.

Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite- It’s a totally imaginative sound collage that makes you feel like you’re floating, plus those carnival sounds—which are splendid for a song like this.

Good Morning Good Morning- It’s rhythmically complex and has a melody that draws you in, though personally, for me, there isn't much more to it.

A Day In The Life- Well, it's "A Day in the Life"—what else is there to say?

Strawberry Fields Forever- The same case as “A Day In The Life”.

I Am The Walrus- No offense, but if you don't like this song, it's because you're really boring, This song is like surrealism and irony brought into the realm of pop.

Baby You’re A Rich Man- It's a good mix of pop and psychedelia, but it's not really to my taste.

All You Need Is Love: a universal anthem with a message that speaks to something we all need in life: love.

It’s ironic that he did this during one of the worst times of his life—living in a house he hated, in a marriage that wasn't working, and getting high almost every day. I think this happened because when the mind is so overwhelmed, it starts writing and creating things that are very different from simple pop songs about love.

Which is the best Beatles guitar solo?

In my opinion, the best solo is the one in "Let It Be" because I feel it contributes the most to the song; although "Let It Be" stands very well on its own, that guitar solo provides an incredible emotional climax. The guitar's sound conveys a sense of hope that no other Beatles solo evokes for me; and while there are other magnificent solos—such as those in "Hey Bulldog," "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," "Something," "Nowhere Man," "Taxman," and many more—the one I like best is the solo in "Let It Be."

Rubber Soul makes the top 5 best Beatles albums?

If you ask me, the top four in my opinion are definitely Abbey Road, Revolver, Sgt. Pepper, and the White Album. As for number five, I reckon it’s a toss-up between Rubber Soul, Magical Mystery Tour, and Let It Be.
Personally, I love Let It Be—I think it’s proper underrated and could’ve been even better, but that dickhead of Phil Spector really ruined much of its purity and original vibe. Still, I adore it, and I’ve got a real soft spot for it mainly because it was the first Beatles record I ever listened to.
That said, looking at it as objectively as I can, Rubber Soul is the better album. It’s packed with iconic, absolute quality tracks and marks the start of their golden era.

Which song is better on *Rubber Soul*: "Girl" or "Michelle"?

I’m definitely Team Lennon, but I’ve got to admit, I find "Michelle" more creative, and I just prefer the melody. The bit where Paul sings in French is brilliant, and alongside that lovely guitar solo, it really makes "Michelle" the better song for me.
