Is direct transaction a scam ?
Hi everyone, I have a question. I sold a pair of Maison Margiela shoes through direct shipping (€600++ for the buyer). My first two transactions on the platform went smoothly, but they were both through the authentication service so I’m a bit unsure about this one.
I’m wondering if I’m taking a big risk by accepting a direct shipping sale, even though I usually film my packages and the shipping process (like I do on Vinted for example). Have any of you had bad experiences with direct shipping sales?
Also, I should mention that I’m currently banned from the messaging system because I redirected people to my website without realizing it was against the rules and I got banned for that. Could this work against me in the event of a dispute?
I should also mention that the buyer has no items listed or previously sold but for example, the sizes of the items in their favorites are coherent 🤷♂️
