I agree they will use ETH to transact in NFTs but I just don’t see why any super intelligent agent would choose a volatile cryptocurrency over a dollar stablecoin
I know a lot of us were wanting a first round pick for Lu, but when you add up the likely draft positions of the 3 second round picks. Bulls 27 2nd rounder is projected to be around 35 next year, then we have no reason to believe that the hawks won’t still be a middle of the pack team in the early 2030s so roughly 45 and 45. Going by Kevin Pelton’s draft pick trade value chart the 3 picks combine equate to roughly the value of the 25th pick. So still a decent haul for Lu while avoiding trading him to a serious contender and still hurting our biggest challenger
Can’t wait to see how much he improves from now to preseason. I’m still excited for what he can become with 2 years in an NBA strength and conditioning program
Dude looks like his chest is literally melting
Lane agility times: Aday 11.47 DC 12.06
Shuttle run: Aday 3.36 DC 3.38
3/4 court sprint: Aday 3.61 DC 3.46
Standing Vert: Aday 24 DC 26
Max Vert: Aday 28 DC 29
I think these numbers bode well for him. I think most people would consider Clingan a top 20 Center in the NBA. IMO Aday also has the superior basketball IQ and skill level with his guard like passing and creativity on offense. I think DC had the edge in defensive IQ and physicality though coming into the league which was helped by being 20 pounds heavier. Both entered the league with major conditioning improvements needed hopefully Aday can match DC in that improvement which was substantial from year 1 to 2
The physical measurements for anyone interested
Aday 7’3 barefoot and 7’4.5 in shoes
DC 7’1.75 and 7’3.25
Aday 9’9 standing reach barefoot 9’10.5 in shoes
DC 9’7 barefoot and 9’8.5
Aday 7’6 wingspan
DC 7’6.75
Aday 260
Dc 280
Mara and Stirtz are both system players that rely on high levels of chemistry with teammates and a high level understanding of the offensive system they are running. This is literally the worst possible environment for players like these.
We can all see what a soft body he has. This is why we resigned I hart to a new 3 year deal. He also hasn’t played a game before these two since the championship game. But the encouraging thing is he is already 260 so he doesn’t need to add a ton of weight which can be very difficult as we’ve seen with Chet. He just needs to get rework his body which is an infinitely easier and faster path
He is going to need time to get the rust off and with his game he needs time and chemistry with teammates to be his best which is impossible to get before summer league. He also needs time to get his conditioning back to where it was. His feet are noticeably lighter in his college highlights.
I still see so much potential with him in 2-3 years. He has so many unique gifts. The passing especially is so advanced compared to other bigs in the league. He makes so many passes almost no one else in the world can make. I think he’s going to be excellent once he gets his body right.
PS thank you to the clippers for basically ensuring us the top odds at the #1 pick next year lol. I think they are now projected to be the 6th worst team. So that would give us top odds along with the other 4-10 teams
Obviously no one can stop him in the this draft or in the NBA for that matter. Just curious who you all think could slow him up the most. Maybe someone with strength and physicality along with a massive wingspan. Chinyelu maybe? Mara can compete height and wingspan wise but I dont think he is near mobile enough to stay with wemby
