Improvements

Hoping for a strong offseason from our core of players and I hope some tackle specific stuff to improve as players

Shai - Pull-up shooting, I seen the videos but I hope to see it translate in the actual court. Back 2 back playoff runs with Shai in the low 30’s in 3 point shooting. Teams figured out that unless it’s a stepback or wide open 3 then Shai shooting is a negative. Pull-up shooting would dramatically help

Chet - strength… that’s it lol. Need him to go from 208 to 217 at least

Jdub- same as Shai, more pull-up shooting; or more volume overall. I like to see Jdub at 5-6 attempts per game from 3.

Ajay- Same as Shai & Jdub 😭. His 3 point shooting creation needs work (surprisedly a low % from open to wide open 3’s; he gotta knock those easy shots down)

McCain - some rim finishing or more playmaking would be nice.

Cason - needs to make quicker decisions when he has the ball. Maybe get better at driving to the rim to generate dunk windows for our bigs

JWill - get better at boxing out, I think he can be sooooo much better as a rebounder

Caruso & IHart I think are perfectly fine players and they excel at their roles. I don’t think we need more from them. They are elite at their roles

This past Sunday, J Dub and his family gave back to their community by hosting a dinner for several families in their home state of Arizona (third year in a row!)

OKC championship shirt

I was looking for the “ won for the city” shirts and I know Fanatics doesn’t make them anymore. I found one on Printerval but was curious if anyone has ordered one recently? Or if yall have any other places to get them?

Thank you!

Apologies for deleting the two posts about the Clippers, but the ESPN article was very obviously a mouthpiece for Balmer given what’s happened in the hours since.

I totally understand “oh let’s start cheating if they’re cheating and not getting punished” as a post, but it’s almost certain that Balmer just wanted to try and swing public opinion again. The article couldn’t even argue that he was innocent, just that he didn’t directly give Kawhi money (he would’ve sent it through shell companies like Aspiration anyway, so this is moot).

I also understand how “oh billionaires never get punished” a popular opinion that’s pretty reasonably grounded in reality, but like…

…they’re gonna punish Balmer considerably. If I wasn’t on the toilet right now, I would send some comments I’ve gathered on r/nba recently that would support the idea that they’re very clearly not taking this lightly.

Also fuck u/YujiDomainExpansion for demanding we apologize to the Clippers. That was beyond scummy.

Legend traded for Legend

Thunder legend Tre Mann traded for Thunder legend Dennis Schröder. Which player does this benefit more? Which team gets the most benefit out of this? Why?

Braums, you know what to do

Since the precedent has been set with the clippers, Cason Wallace and ajay Mitchell should get some nice sponsorships from local businesses

New cap rules

With the new rules that the commissioner announced today. The thunder needs to hurry up and find some companies to pay our star players through. That way we can spend more on players like a Lu dort or Aaron wiggins and keep them.

Forgot how cancer OKC discourse is

Decided to rewatch some of the big games from last season and the memories of viral hate clips started coming back to me. I had forgotten how utterly miserable thunder discourse from my family and friends was. And on social media too.

Just an endless, incessant stream of misinformation, social media backed hive-mind, mass hate and clickbait.

Oof. Yeah I know “just ignore it” “who cares what other people think” and all that but I just don’t have the mental energy to argue with friends and listen to the idiotic hate from everyone all over again. And already the spin about okc having “the easiest schedule.” Why did social media have to ruin something that should be so fun?
