Vassell made the game competitive again every damn time we pulled away. Every time we went on a run he would hit an insane contested 3 followed by another 3 or a mid range to bring the Spurs back in it. Easily one of the most likeable players on the Spurs, plays his ass off and is a total sniper. My blood pressure was at an all time high all game because of him lmao

I Don’t Want Another Game on NBC

This is going to be my personal complaint thread. Just wondering if anyone else has the same opinions.

The thing that bothers me the most is their camera work. Imagine trying to see how Hartenstein or Chet is covering Wemby but you can’t because NBC has the camera 4K ZOOMED IN on the person holding the ball.

And EVERYTIME someone attempts a shot we have to watch them take forever to zoom out and essentially miss the entire arc of the shot. Great job NBC. 👍🏾

And OH MY GOODNESS, Reggie Miller will never shut the hell up. Everytime Wemby or Castle does anything it’s instant glaze, literally skipping up and down to praise them. When someone on our team does something, it’s either crickets or essentially a pat on the back.

I understand we’re the villains of the league and networks might be looking to capitalize but can we NOT have one game where our commentators are effectively neutral??

Okay rant over and just wanted your opinions too.

I love this so much, they soft as baby 💩

Funny how they ignore the physicality from players like Wemby and Castle 😂

I made this graphic to show how modern nba fans and media react every time we play.

Oklahoma Hatred

Anyone else hate seeing these type of comments being made about Oklahoma? It’s likely due to how good we’ve been, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen any other state be dragged through the mud like Oklahoma has been the last two years. Even during the Westbrook era (2016-2019) when we weren’t winning as much, I’d see negative comments not only about OKC, but the state as a whole and the citizens that reside in it.

States like Arizona, Tennessee, Texas, and Louisiana are very similar states. Each ranks extremely low in education, and in healthcare, yet you never see a peep about it, even during Phoenix’s and Mavs’ finals runs. What makes Oklahoma such an easy target? The state is beautiful, you can do just as much in OKC that you can do in any other mid-sized city and Oklahoma has some of the nicest people in the country. It’s discouraging to see these comments on a daily basis.

Cason Wallace appreciation post.

Wallace makes huge plays Man... Lu did great too.We just have to play our average above game and we are good although dub injury is a major setback.

Cason Wallace is shooting 48% from 3 in the playoffs this year

Quietly Cason Wallace has been piecing together another really strong post season. He’s obviously been doing his thing defensively whenever he’s in (averaging 2.4 stocks per game), but the 3 point numbers have been really encouraging.

So far vs the Spurs alone he’s 6/11 from 3 and hit some massive timely 3’s for us when Spurs made runs.

He’s going to be relied upon even more presumably with the impending potential of JDub and Ajay’s injury question marks going forward.

About the hate

The hate has reached such an extreme and biased level I have officially stopped caring about it. that harteinstein hair pull is being spread en masse....but only the slow mo version, cuz real time speed shows it was a total nonissue and an embellished floppp by castle. and yet, social media is seething like rabid savages. completely pointless trying to correct such a hivemind

Finally, freedom!

for those skeptical about the ihart hair play: here you go: https://x.com/MrBuckBuckNBA/status/2057291958465302871?s=20

To people that kept bitching about the Bald Eagle’s salary or saying he’ll be moved, it’s not happening. We’re gonna build him a fucking statue.

These casuals don’t know, and some of them in our own sub.

As you pull out of QT eating your Braums burger, ask yourself: who’s the greatest role player of all time?

Alex Fucking Caruso, that’s who.

We get bounced and the next year this man has our defense magically at a historic rate. Same squad, but we jumped from top 5 to absolutely historic, “bitch about your superstar and trade his ass” defense. Give us the championship, good fucking night. But none of that happens without AC. He saved a few games last year and he’s at it again.

Yes, we paid even more. And guess what? He outplays guys getting paid double when it counts. Who has more net points than SGA in 38 minutes or Wemby in 37 minutes in this series? That’s right, it’s the Bald Eagle. AND OFF THE BENCH in 25 MINUTES.

AC should just stand for “Absolute Chaos” from now on. Because he’s an F5 coming through to fuck your shit up.

You’re down to game 7 and don’t know how to stop the great Jokic? Alex Caruso.

You’ve got an alien and have no game plan for how to guard him? Try Alex Caruso and he’ll give you an all time game.

Honestly, imagine the Spurs had traded a 1st for Caruso. What’s this series look like with him coming off of their bench? Guys, IT WOULDNT LOOK GOOD

This man sits in a lab all year like a Dragon Ball Z character with tubes attached to his ass just to unleash his power against Jokic, Wemby, and anyone else that stands in the way.

He’ll never be an All Star, but he’ll always be the winner where most of them shrank. He’ll never be on a max, but he’ll always give you the max. He’s got that Brodie all-out DNA and the LeBron BBIQ and the playoff fight of Rondo and the same clutch gene SGA has.

This dude is the pitbull of the NBA. And coming from the G league to future 3x champion, not a bus rider, everything that KD could never be. If Chet can gain a little by osmosis he can be an all time great.

We are blessed to have this man as the defense’s linebacker, calling out plays and destroying their plans in the process. Not another bench player in the league is feared as much as AC.

So get used to winning. The man isn’t overpaid, he’s not getting traded, he’s going to retire in the orange and blue and get a statue before he hopefully slides in as a coach for the team.

Alex Caruso was a team high +18 and had another sensational game: 17 points, 5 assists on 5/7 FG

He has been OKC’s best player this series. Instant impact on both ends and has been a steadying force for this team every time he checks into the game.

When Spurs played tried the zone and were trapping Shai, Caruso was just carving it up as the flash man in the middle and making the right read every time.

Tremendous all time playoff riser role player. One of the best players in the league this time of the year.
