Is it better than the monarch? I think the 4.7x scope is awesome.

For all who encounter the same issue as mine, just to share, I've bought this mouse in early 2023. About a year later, the middle mouse button became intermittently unresponsive and requires much higher force to press for it to register a click. It seems to be a common design issue as being reported by other users in this forum.
Today in my free time I took the chance to troubleshoot and the temporary fix which I think works best is to add just a layer of thin electrical tape ( I use 3M) on top of the "+" logo and remove the mini compression spring as shown in the image of this thread. Avoid adding more than 2 layers of tape or else the top housing cover will compress the push button constantly.
I've no idea why a separate mini spring is installed but to me it adds more resistance and is redundant when the dedicated middle push button is already spring loaded.
I think a hyperscroll wheel in combination with the middle click button is a disaster as the scroll wheel is easy to slip (be it tactile or free spinning mode) when attempting to press the button, especially when I am using a lot of cad or engineering software for panning and rotating model. Hope Logitech will take note of this and improve the design. To me it is worth buying just for the darkfield sensor. But the current flaw is definitely a dealbreaker for me to stay away from their MX series mouse. P.S. I have G309 as well, which has been great so far. Now I'm off to purchase some new skates because they got destroyed to access the screws.

Turns out cryo variant has the lowest drop chance among all elements. The only one after 780 hours of play time.
Elusive bad boy, rarer than CMT
Quite a decent mod I'd say. What's your thought?
