Music on the beach?

Re entry it seems like more & more people are bringing Bluetooth speakers to the beach and cranking their tunes for all to hear. In the era of earbuds and wireless headphones, why do I need to be assaulted by 3-4 different types of music? If I wanted music, I would have brought my own. The peace and serenity of the waves isn’t enough?

If You’re Heading to the Beach…

I cannot fathom why people wait until they’re on the beach to apply sunscreen. If you take the time to read instructions, sunscreen should be applied 15 minutes before exposure. Understanding Regional Differences

I’m much less knowledgeable than most in this community, but my mother did instill the importance of basic grammar in me. I’m trying to be less judgmental, and am looking to understand if it’s grammatically acceptable or correct in the UK or anywhere outside the US to use phrases like “me and my husband.” I see it so often across Reddit, and am not sure if I’m incorrectly assuming that the subject vs. object rule is universal, or if it varies based on where people live. It drives me crazy when I see it. Am I correct, or simply an ignorant American?
