Bought a sitting Tajima Embroidery machine
So I bought a Tajima TMAR Kc-904 Type-2 it is a 4 head machine.The question I have is it has been sitting in a storage locker for about 2 years more or less what should be my first step before using it/turning it on for the first time(it was working before it went into storage).
And my second question is where should I start with learning embroidery as well as learning to digitise logos.I am well versed in coral/adobe illustrator/ freehand and I bought Wilcom embroidery studio software which I know works with coral that is exactly why I got it but I’m still completely clueless with embroidery as a whole. I know on some materials you need tear away materials and stuff like that.Is there maybe a cheap course I can do to learn this stuff or should I just learn from YouTube.
Here is some background:Long story short I do commercial printing and an opportunity came across my desk which was a company that closed down and the leasing company reached out to me and let me know that they had a few machines sitting in storage from this company that closed down.So I bought all the machines in the locker.
