DaVinci Resolve export taking extremely long on RTX 5060 laptop — normal?
Hi, I’ve just finished editing my first gaming video in DaVinci Resolve. The footage is gameplay footage that I recorded using OBS, if that makes any difference. The video is around 30 minutes long, and I exported it using the YouTube preset.
I left it exporting for about an hour, but it’s only at around 1%. The estimated time remaining also keeps going up, and right now it says about 3 hours.
My laptop is an HP OMEN 16-am0353TX 16" WQXGA Gaming Laptop with an Intel Core Ultra 7-255H and GeForce RTX 5060.
Is this normal for a 30-minute gaming video, or is something wrong with my export settings?
I’m probably just gonna leave it exporting overnight and see what happens. If anything else happens or it still seems wrong, I’ll check out what people suggest.
