Got an update my application was moved to licensing officer with no references contacted, which I called (sheriff's office) they explained references signed app to attest to good character (application states) and no interview which im not sure is a thing for every application. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this before approval or denial?

Called the erie co sheriff's office and spoke with someone there who told me they are currently working April of last year's applications. Just wanted to give that info for anyone wondering.
