For context I’m 29F. I started running consistently this year. I ran an 8k in early February. It was my first 8k ever. My longest run prior was a 5k and I’ve been trying to build up my miles.

The following day after my 8k, the area that is circled is where I felt pain and it hurt when I walked or applied pressure to that my leg. I rested and didn’t run. My leg felt better so I started slowly running again. Then it would flare. I would stop running then it felt completely fine. Then I would run and it would flare. I could walk completely fine, unless I have a flare up after I run. This only flares after a run and I’m unsure how to treat it. I’ve gone a couple of weeks without running and then as soon as I run, it flares.

Can anyone help me or guide me on what to do? It’s expensive to get an X-ray and I’d love to hear from anyone who’s gone through the same thing after running. Thank you.
