Am I too old to become a nurse at 30? I'm 30 years old, and becoming a nurse has been my dream for a long time.

I started learning German in 2023 and worked really hard until I reached the B2 level in 2025. Unfortunately, because of work, I couldn't continue studying.
Later, I was accepted for a volunteer position with a German organization, and I truly believed it was the beginning of a new chapter in my life. Sadly, my visa application was refused, and that was a huge disappointment.
Instead of giving up, I've decided to take a different path. This year, I'm preparing for the entrance exam to a nursing school in my own country. My goal is to become a qualified nurse first, and maybe one day I'll have another opportunity to work in Germany.
Still, I can't help wondering if I'm too late. Sometimes I feel like I've lost precious years while trying to make my dream come true. Other times, I remind myself that it's better to chase your dream later than to give up on it completely.
So I'd like to ask those of you who are nurses or nursing students:
Did anyone here start nursing school at 30 or older? How was your experience? Do you think age really matters in this profession?
I'd really appreciate hearing your stories or any advice you can share.
