Hey all, my sons has decided that he wants a bearded dragon. He will be 4 in a few months. I know that I will be the caregiver for it and I am actually excited too. We have already been gifted a 4x2x2 enclosure with UVB and basking lights and food and water dishes. We are planning to get them from a local reputable reptile specific shop and have a friend that is an exotic vet. I have never owned a reptile before. Besides turtles that I’d catch, keep a few days and release when I was a kid. What kind of things am I looking for when buying a bearded dragon? Any other first timer tips are welcomed and appreciated.
