Hi everyone,
I recently had a cruise on the Norwegian Jade (27 Feb 2026) that had to be interrupted after only 3 days due to a serious medical emergency (sepsis), which required onboard hospitalization and evacuation to a hospital in Colombia.
Of course, I understand that medical issues can happen, but what really surprised me is that after providing all documents, the company refused any meaningful compensation, offering only a very limited gesture.
I was a repeat customer, so this was quite disappointing.
Has anyone experienced something similar with Norwegian Cruise Line? Is this standard practice?
