Jeju residents, what’s it like living in Jeju?

Long story short, my husband and I have recently relocated to South Korea, currently living in Seoul while we look for work and my husband got a job offer for a company in Jeju. Neither of us have been, so curious about insights from those who have lived there/currently living there. We relocated from the east coast in the US, so the idea of living by the water again is a huge plus in our eyes.

Along with general “what’s it like”, do you think a salary of ₩50M is enough to live comfortably there? Unfortunately I don’t speak Korean fluently yet, so we’d be relying on one income for a while, so looking to see how realistic that is. Thanks in advance!!
