Mallorca itinerary for 2 single 40 year old women:)
Heading to Mallorca in early September for 6 nights. We are young 40 year olds, love to explore, want beautiful beaches, boat rides, good food and dancing (although not looking to get wild and go to clubs past midnight haha) We will have a car the entire time. This is my current itinerary:
Day 1-Pick up car in Palma and drive North to either Soller, Deia or Valledmosa (stay one night there) Along the way make stops in
- Valldemossa
- Deià
- Sa Calobra
- Cap de Formentor
Day 2 and 3-Drive to Porta de Pollenca and stay 2 nights
-Beaches, boat ride, old town markets, hiking
Day 4 and 5-Drive down to east Mallorca and stay in either Cala d’Or, Santanyi or Porto Cristo (along the way, stop at Arta, Coves del Drach, Cala Mesquida
Day 6- Explore Palma and fly out the following day.
I have heard different things about staying in Porta de Pollenca as well as Cala d'Or so would love honest feedback. We are completely flexible too so please suggest other spots.
Also, I am curious if we would be better off starting our trip in Palma and staying the night or ending there and staying the night. We fly out in the morning.
Thank you for any insight!
