My supervisor yelled at me in the office in front of other employees and was being verbally hostile towards me. No threats of violence but the supervisor was being very emotional and unprofessional towards me with what they said and with their tone. That experience was distressing for me and I can’t stop thinking about it.

I’m a CCA (past probation) and I’m wondering if filing a grievance would in some way hurt me in the future.

I’ve heard that if I become a regular carrier before my first year of working as a CCA that I would have to pass another probationary period and I’m concerned that if I file a grievance they could try to fire me in retaliation during a potential second probationary period.
