So I am living in the USA right now, and I am from Europe. I started going out with this girl back around the end of November. I felt loved like I never did in my whole life, but today she just admitted that she slept with her ex back in December, and her excuse was that we are not official. I am a foreigner to this country. is this how it really works? If you don't commit to being boyfriend and girlfriend, are you allowed to sleep with someone else? And how she said it happened was her abusive ex came over to her place during one night and forced her to have sex with him. I asked her if she went to the cops or if she asked for help after that, and she said no and that she feels guilty about it, mostly because she got manipulated by him again. And she only keeps insisting that we were not official, but for me as a person who is not from here, a relationship starts when we start kissing each other and go out every week, and I presented her to my friends and everything, even meeting her father before she did that. I really love this girl, and I know she loves me right now; she shows it and makes me feel special, but I don't know if I can get over that..
She says she was a different person back there and was never truly loved, and I know she had an abusive ex, but still.
