Hi. Sana po no judgment as I understand the repercussions of my action. Nagloan ako sa UD last Feb 2024 (all online). Unfortunately, hindi na ako nkabayad after 2 automatic deductions from my previous payroll kasi I lost my job. A lot has happened kaya di ako nakapagbayad and now, the loan was forwarded to Bernales collections agency and is now amounting to 1.8M including charges and interests. I am going to start on a new well-paying job this June and I plan to reach out to the CA to agree on a settlement. However, I want to check on experiences from others who experienced this kind of situation (old payroll UB, loan was unpaid for a while, new payroll UB again), na hold / kinuha ba ang buong sahod niyo agad sa new employer? I’ve seen some posts but it seems like these are old posts so I wanted to check more recent experiences kung meron.
I will reach out naman to CA to settle but I want to know lang what to expect sa first sweldo.
