Horror movie recomendations needing to scare my boyfriend.
Hi, i am 33 female and i need help finding a horror movie so that my boyfriend 32 male can get scared as much as I do.
Heres the sitch
I get scared easily. I love film and i enjoy horror movies that talk about serious topics. Horror movies like Midsomar or Obssesion. But I watch something like the conjuring movies which we are both going through the series i am hitting every jumpscare. My boyfriend loves horror movies, but he doesnt get scared. He likes watching vicariously through me. He is on the spectrum and usally figures it out or just isnt so invested that he can truly get scared. I tried showing him Annilation and the bear scene he thought it was "interesting". he knew the "horror" of the situation and felt bad for the characters but wasnt scared. (Like i was)
From what I can gather he likes cosmic horror. He needs a horror movie where he cant figure out whats going on. So he can get scared. We both do not like body horror. To both of us its more cringe then horror. Any thoughts I want him to be scared for a change. Thank you so much everyone :)
