FAMOUS?

Guys, I would like to wholeheartedly announce that I am now officially famous in the Macquarie Uni community…

Forget graduating. Forget getting a job. This is my crowning achievement! 👑🏆🥇

Thank you r/MacUni for bringing me joy during these rough exam times.

I will not be taking any questions at this time as I adjust to life in the public eye.

Is it okay to ask a lecturer to slow down until I’ve understood the previous lecture?

I’m about nine weeks behind but I don’t want them getting too far ahead of me…

Update on #1 Uni J*b Interview

Update: I applied for Maccas Ultimo…

I got a group interview. When I asked the interviewer what uni they went to, they said, “The #1 Uni of course!”.

When he found out that I did too, the lower class USYD applicants in the room were told to leave.

I proceeded to take his job and now I am the CEO of Maccas. FREE BIG MACS FOR ALL UNSW STUDENTS!!!

Is ChatGPT smarter if you use it on UNSW Wifi?

Has anyone else noticed ChatGPT gets smarter when you're connected to the UNSW Wifi?

I'm starting to think the university secretly pipes extra intelligence into the network...

It would explain why Eduroam is so slow. And after all...ChatGPT must sense when it's being used at the #1 University in Australia

If I accidentally flash my UNSW student card at the airport instead of my passport, are they legally required to let me through?

Quick question…

If I accidentally hand the Border Force officer my UNSW student card instead of my passport, are they legally required to let me through?

I feel like attending Australia’s #1 university should count as a form of identification…

Is Google Maps less accurate around UNSW because it assumes we’re smart enough to figure it out ourselves?

Has anyone else noticed that Google Maps gets significantly less helpful around UNSW?

It’ll just say things like “Head north” or “Destination is on your right.”

Is it less accurate around campus because it assumes we’re all smart enough to figure it out ourselves, or is it just me?

After all…we do attend the #1 University…

Is it rude to ask the interviewer what university they went to before deciding whether to answer their questions?

I’ve got a job interview next week and I was wondering what the etiquette is…

Would it be rude to ask the interviewer what university they went to before deciding whether I answer their questions?

I just don’t want to waste either of our time if we’re not academically compatible 😭

If I sit in the same seat every lecture for long enough, is it legally mine?

Someone was in it today…

I didn’t want to cause a scene but surely there are squatter’s rights???

Are the ibis on campus owned by UNSW or are they just independent contractors?

I keep seeing them doing waste management but none of them are wearing staff IDs.

Does graduating from Australia’s #1 university make my Centrelink application more competitive?

Just wondering if I should mention it.

Surely they take prestige into account???
