Vent about imago
I, (mtf, 17) had my imago welcome call in march 2026, the call was a little unprofessional and pointless but I got an appointment to talk to an imago doctor in July 2026.
The doctor said that she would give me a paper prescription because electronic prescriptions sometimes don’t work in Irish pharmacists. 2 weeks later I got an electronic prescription and lo and behold, it didn’t work!
I emailed imago, they gave me a list of pharmacies that allegedly are able to disperse the electronic prescriptions so I travelled to the nearest one and they said they can’t disperse the e-prescription!
I requested a paper prescription and 2 weeks later, I got an email saying the shipping provider sent the prescription back to them… they said they have sent it again with a different provider.
This whole situation is making me really anxious because not only am I waiting to see if the paper prescription even arrives, I also don’t even know if it will work yet! And on top of that, I have also seen people who think imago will be shut down and I cannot afford any other hrt provider….
Mind you I am still paying the monthly imago prescription during all of this and getting exactly jack shit from it🙏
