Ngl i randomly tried Eden Eternal again in 2026 and it kinda hit different

So i was just scrolling and got hit with some old MMO nostalgia and ended up reinstalling Eden Eternal outta nowhere, not expecting much at all

ngl i forgot how fun the class swapping system is in this game, like being able to switch roles on the same character and mess around with builds still feels kinda ahead of its time

also the whole anime MMO vibe is still there in a good way, like it’s cheesy but in a nostalgic comfy way, not in a cringe way

what surprised me tho is that it’s not as dead as i thought it would be, there are still ppl running around, doing dungeons and PvP stuff and it actually feels active in some spots

i ended up falling into this rabbit hole watching gameplay and checking how the game evolved over time, and it’s wild how much systems got expanded compared to what i remembered

kinda crazy how some older MMOs just refuse to die and lowkey still feel better than a lot of modern streamlined stuff

anyone else ever randomly go back to an old MMO and get surprised like this or is it just me
