2 days post tattoo from a reputable tattoo artist. Great guy and amazing portfolio. Couldn’t fault him at all. Sat for 7hrs to get it done. He recommended I leave the second skin on for minimum 3 days but my arm was getting extremely painful so I took it off in the shower. Underneath is super macerated (which I can understand why since there was fluid there for awhile). I’ve pat dried it and leaving it to air out but is this normal for healing?? Probably a dumb question but I’ve only had fine line tattoos and healing was never an issue. I probably just need some reassurance because I’m due to go back and finish it in a few weeks…
