Voting opens in two weeks, and we are getting into the thick of it. If you are comfortable sharing your potential ballot, please comment below. I'll start:

Mayor: Nicole Beatty

Deputy Mayor: Adam Bureau (not much of a choice here) EDIT: After reading Adam's FB post today on homelessness, he has my unreserved vote!

Councillors (up to 5): Aaron Burchat, Alex Cahill, Miriam Mutton. (I think I'll only vote for 3)

School Trustees: ugh. But definitely NOT Terry Brown.

Vote wisely, Cobourg.

I am torn between Nicole Beatty and Max LeMarchant for mayor. I admire Nicole's work over the years and her support for our most vulnerable residents. Max impressed me with his evisceration of Lucas Cleveland and the inept town planners at a recent council meeting. The differences between these two may be in the nuances of how they will approach affordable housing for all, and the use of the police for social ills. Thoughts?

How do you feel about the Town Council/school trustees ballot? Will we see positive change? Who is your dark horse?

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker, Rachel Epstein!

Construction fencing went up yesterday- does anyone know what is going on there? There is nothing on the town's official development page for that address.
