Wondering if anyone plays WoW? I’ve been playing since 2020 but kinda a lot less the last 2 years. I want to get back to playing casually as a few others I played with in the past really made it fun but very competitive at the same time. So I’m looking for people who want to get on and just explore and do the storyline/side missions.

So much garbage was left on the sand at the beach after people were setting off fireworks. Pizza boxes, food wrappers, a broken tent, and fireworks. It is completely disrespectful to other residents in this town and is bad for wildlife. There's garbage cans all this town, throw your garbage in those.

Our town is so beautiful and it's heartbreaking to see it slowly get wrecked by people who don't care about it.

I posted a few days ago about a book club alternative in town, in an attempt to socialize and meet new people in the area.

I want to throw out the idea of meeting at Jack's Barrel House on a Tuesday in July, in the evening. Whatever time works for people between 7 and 9. But this can all be decided later.

There is a list of book suggestions started on the discord that we can vote on, or add to.

Making friends or like minded people into the same hobbies is tough for me and anxiety doesn't help but willing to chat with people and see where it goes from there. I'm 32M into some nerdy stuff and can be wild once I open up and feel comfortable around you.

Or any suggestions to meet people would be helpful also.

I grew up in Cobourg but have lived out of town for decades. My parents whom are elderly still live there. I was pondering on the idea of my son (29) moving in with them to help out around the house. What are the job prospects like in town? He mainly has experience in greenhouse/fork lift/customer service.

Hey, in an effort to get to know people in the area and find social activities, I was looking for book clubs. The groups I found either meet in the middle of the work day, or describe their groups as a group of friendly ladies. Are there any book clubs that are co-ed or a group or guys, that meet in the evenings?

I was even thinking of tossing out the idea of starting a group. I thought it could be good to meet monthly, maybe at Jack's Barrel House on a Tuesday. Grab a schooner and chat about a book. If anyone had any reading suggestions, that would be awesome. I just started The Director, by Daniel Kehlmann if anyone was interested in that.

I’ve often wondered what the back story behind this large and vacant facility is. Now I know. I wasn’t here for the discussions about this being a rehab, but it sure is a shame to see a large building that could house a lot of medical services just sitting vacant.

I'll be traveling by train from Cobourg to Montreal for a few days and want to park at the VIA station. We are leaving on the 9:45 am train. Does anyone know if im going to have trouble finding a parking spot in the lot? I know it's paid parking but Im driving from Peterborough and worried I won't have anywhere to leave my car.

We’re selling our queen size bed and upgrading to a king. We’ve posted the bed frame + mattress on marketplace for free but people seem to be only interested in the bed frame. We’ve heard the best bet is to just take the mattress to the dump, but it seems so wasteful. Any advice on what to do with it? Anyone want it? It’s not very old (got it a few years ago from Ikea)

I work in the area and had it with me and I must’ve forgot o lock my vehicle on the way back from lunch. Does anyone have any ideas on where to look should whoever took it try and sell it?
