hai so basically I want to go into ib, I’m a freshman at a semi target (Canadian) school. I have a 3.7 gpa, Im an analyst on my schools finance association, on another initiative through faculty recommendation that where I basically do accounting for a scholarship fund.

I can’t help but feel like I’m not doing enough.

I didn’t get an internship for this summer, (idk im doing this vc thing but it’s very low commitment), I got rejected from big 5 banks for 2027 (S&T SA positions).

I go to in-person networking events, I send coffee chat requests (never gotten a reply), I cold apply, but still nothing.

Am I being too hard on myself or is there smth I’m missing.

has anyone heard back for round 1 yet?

Has anyone done Point72 Summer Sessions, the one specifically for freshman? Is so, how was your experience?😊
