3 MMC 4th time pregnant with similar results
Hi everyone, hoping to hear from anyone who has had a similar experience or found something that was initially missed.
I’ve had 3 missed miscarriages so far and am currently pregnant for the 4th time. All pregnancies were conceived naturally within 3-4 cycles.
In all previous pregnancies:
- Growth stopped around 7–9 weeks
- A heartbeat had already been seen
- Early viability scans looked reassuring
- I never experienced bleeding or typical miscarriage symptoms
- Problems were usually discovered later around the 11-12 week NT scan, when severe growth restriction/no heartbeat was found
I’ve had an extensive recurrent pregnancy loss workup done, including:
- Thrombophilia panel
- APS/APLA testing
- Karyotyping
- Homocysteine
- AMH
- TSH, LH, FSH, prolactin
- MTHFR
- Factor V Leiden
- Semen analysis with DFI (14%)
- Multiple uterine ultrasounds
Everything has come back normal.
During my 3rd pregnancy, I was on enoxaparin + aspirin + progesterone, but it still ended in miscarriage. The RPOC testing from that pregnancy showed Monosomy X (Turner syndrome). The other losses were not genetically tested.
The other two when i was taking blood thinner, those stopped at 6w3d.
Now in my current pregnancy:
- Scan at 7w2d measured only 6w1d
- Fetal heart rate is 88 bpm
Unfortunately, it feels very similar to my previous pregnancies, and I’m terrified this may end the same way.
Has anyone had repeated losses like this with mostly normal investigations and then eventually gone on to have a successful pregnancy? Was there any test, treatment, or underlying issue that finally gave you answers?
