While seeming like a harmless old man, Blake is technically a low-level, often retired technocrat.

He first appeared in a Yahoo text room World of Darkness game back in the 90s. Slowly drawing new recruits to his side.

He is more than willing to work with other Mages; if they want to be in the Traditions, he will act as a sympathetic ear to their concerns.

When they join the Technocracy, he will act in a more direct manner, teaching his students that their personal choice.

"What do you want to do?" Is his basic catchphrase.

He has a firm belief that humanity is the strongest force there is; in his world, anyone can learn to do what others do in a far more stable manner. You got a fireball; he's got a revolver carefully tested and maintained with minimal points of failure. Reality is on his side, and he knows how to use it.

Most recently, I accidentally named one of my Vampire Ghoul NPCs with the last name Blake.

Her history got rewritten to put a portal that Grandma (The Great Maw) in her back by becoming her adoptive Grandpa he has cosmically placed himself in a position to fight the main enemy of humanity.

Will he succeed? I don't know,

I do think that there is a little bit of the Old Man in every World of Darkness Blake.

Or it's just a cool name, but that's Mage!
