Any idea how to keep my puff sleeve from "spiking" when I raise my arm?

This sleeve looks cute with my arm down but creates a spike when I raise my arm. Any ideas how to resolve this?

How to add elastic to the waist of this dress?

This dress is too boxy. I want to add elastic to the waist, but I dont want a visible waistband. Just one seam. I know it's better to make a channel for the elastic to go through, but I'm not sure how to do that with the gathered waist attaching to the smaller bodice. Any ideas?

How can I fix the pockets showing through this skirt?

I know it probably needs a lining to fix this, but I've already sewn the pockets to the front panel with multiple layers of stitching. Is there anything I can do without removing the pockets?
