Macan is in the last three months of the CPO period. It started making noise when accelerating so I had it checked out. Independent mechanic changed the oil and send they didn't have the tech to fix the error code issue. Brought it to the dealership who told me they found metal in the oil. I suspect this is a major fix involving the timing chain or engine scoring. The car has had seven properly completed oil changes in 49 months, though some have come after 10,000 miles. Should I be concerned about PNMA declining CPO coverage? Thanks in advance.
