Why is my black flap different than my burgundy?
I bought both of them in store, however the burgundy I bought in October of 2023 and the black I bought today. The back pocket on the black is objectively smaller than the burgundy, and the grain of the black caviar is objectively bigger than the softer small grain of the burgundy. They’re both caviar leather jumbos with gold hardware. The gold hardware on the black also looks slightly more golden meaning a little yellower. Did they just change the design to make it different or is it slightly different for the black bags, or maybe each bag in general is just a little different idk? This seems weird to me. Should I return it and ask for a new one? The sticker wasn’t on the CC’s either however it is on all the other hardware. I’m a little anxious they sold me an older black one potentially, however the sales associate did assure me it’s fresh and the jumbo caviars have decently quick turnaround she said😭 Maybe my burgundy one has just aged more or something and that could explain the gold color being less gold and the grain is more dry or something idk but the back pocket sizing definitely seems oddly different to me still.
