What do you think?

My lovely friend just showed me this one. I am LOVING the apples, but I am uncertain about the utility. Does it matter if it is rarely used if I just love it?

My first Chanel bag just turned 10 years old! The 2016 class flap bag in caviar

This was my first Chanel Bag and I remember just wishing for her to be a classic in black and in caviar. I only use her for special occasions, and maybe a handful of times every other year.

My family never understood my bag collecting so I hid my bags from them when I visit home over the years. I made the mistake once of telling a family member what they cost; I was convinced to sell 2/3 of my bags to invest in the stock market, which I fully regret.

I recently came across the booklet and price tag for my Chanel classic flap in black calf caviar, the one pictured, with burgundy interior and silver hardware. I thought I’d include the photos. It’s in pretty good condition, but I just noticed the one corner, which means I’ll start conditioning the bag every few years from now on.

I’ve really enjoyed this subreddit because it’s allowed me to share the thrill of collecting with other like-minded individuals! I added the “Not for sale” text across all my
Photos so it doesn’t end up on Poshmark or something!

I posted this a few days ago, what do we think? Is it a yay or nay?

As the title states,

So I have three bags in mind that I’m choosing between, and this is one of them. I think it strays quite a bit from the classic flap design and gives a fresh new style. Is it a yay or a nay?

The photos do not belong to me

Is this lizard embossed vanity bag hard to get?

I saw this at the boutique, only one piece one colour black left, it’s so pretty, but I’ve so many bags already, is it hard to get if I missed this one?

Deconstructed In the Business Bag

I bought a shoddy in the Business Bag for the sheer purpose of bedazzling it. Unfortunately the rhinestones would have a problem of taking unless I completely shaved off the patent polyurethane coating on the fabric. I was curious about replacing the top flap piece with the CC clasp on so I started deconstructing.

One thing led to another and curiosity got the best of me, I took the whole bag apart.

Doing so made me rethink the entire quality of CHANEl as I own several pieces.

I know In the Business is not top tier but here are the pieces for your viewing pleasure.

I am going to replace the cloth pieces with some high quality velvet and stitch it all together and add some beading for fun.

Took my Chanel to Turks & Caicos.. is she salvageable?

Brought this bag on vacation. The discoloration I assume is either salt water or body oil/sunscreen. There’s also these dots around the clasp that won’t go away? Just wondering what options if any to help her are. I’m open to DIY or a service.
