Staying after concerts to meet Ash is diving into parasocialism.
Does anyone else find it really weird recently how Ash has said on live that she dosent include meet and greets into VIP packaging, because she finds it ethically questionable to make people pay to meet her, so the next best thing a lot of these fans are doing is waiting 3 HOURS OR MORE after the concerts end, just to get maybe a 1-2 minute interaction. Then also get surprised that Ash might not give the best energy during these interactions. I don’t know about yall, but after a concert ends, I’m getting some grub then going the fuck home. Staying after a concert for another three hours just to meet another human being? I don’t think y’all realize how creepy it is if she wasn’t an artist and was a regular person. I’m sorry, but it feels very entitled that she has publicly stated she dosent do meet and greets, and instead of respecting that boundary, we are pushing it by staying hours after concerts and playing coy by going “well.. at least we aren’t paying to see her.”
Yall are weird, I’m sorry.
