So, last night was my farewell to Ashnikko Toronto shows. I’ve followed her since the early days, and while I love how successful she’s become, it’s sad to see the community vibe shift so much. These used to be real party concerts— some people got messed up (not all, but some) but the community was so much more cohesive and welcoming. The irony of leaving my responsibilities behind for the night to roll at a show to get some pent up energy out, only to be next to a 12-year-old showing more cleavage than most of the adults standing around! When the parents start bringing the kids to the ragers, the party is over. People waving dildos screaming about sitting on the DJs face? Have to say, it felt odd with so many underaged folks in the crowd compared to previous shows. I tried to dance as I normally would, but everyone was so stiff and only focusing on capturing content. I was next to a guy picking his ear and flicking it into the crowd—couldn’t escape since people were getting mad if you even tried to move around in the slightest. People were being abrasive if you walked for a drink or to use the bathroom—it’s a concert! Movement should be expected. I watched a bigger girl politely pass just to get back to her friends she came with after buying a bottle of water, but that was an apparent problem people weren’t afraid to react to. If you’re in the pit, expect bumps. If you want space, pick seats or stand at the edges of the venue if you bought GA. Ashnikko still slays, but next time, I’ll party at home: Ear-cheese and child-free!

just got back from the toronto show and it was amazing! however i noticed that chokehold cherry python, weedkiller, and possession of a weapon werent played. i figured it might’ve been because the toronto show started late, i think due to tech difficulties, but i checked the montreal setlist and it also didn’t have those songs. don’t get me wrong, the show was still incredible! but i was just curious as to why these songs may have been cut? does anyone know?

Asking as someone who has only recently started going to more concerts, so sorry if this is a dumb question 😭

But I’ve seen a few posts about people waiting after their show to meet Ash and was wondering if this is something Ash is okay with? Genuinely not trying to start any discourse, I’ve just seen a lot of mixed info. Some people make it sound unprompted, other people make it sound like it’s kind of an unofficial thing that Ash briefly meets their fans behind venues after their shows. (EDIT: I should have said I’m not trying to start any arguments/fights, just to open a conversation)

I was at the Boston show though and Ash had said on stage how overwhelmed and burnt out they all are and I’d imagine meeting fans after would be a lot

EDIT: I’m not asking because I want to do this, I had just heard of people doing this and had a bit of an off feeling about it but wanted to see how other people felt about it. I have also since learned about the person who was banging on the tour bus door and Y’ALL wtf, that must have been so scary/jarring for them

I went to the DC show for the smoothies tour as a casual fan and fell in love with her music even more! The monologue before it girl really stood out to me and I shed some tears :’) does anyone have a video of it or remember the gist of what she said?

I’m from the Netherlands and sadly I couldn’t go/am not able to go to any of her Europe concerts this year but I was genuinely wondering where you guys got your fits from. Do you make them yourself and how do you visualize them before you put them together/start making them? I absolutely love every one of them but I wouldn’t even know where to begin cuz I usually dress pretty casually (or probably just plain boring). Plus my parents would never approve of me going out of the house like that. They’re not religious or anything but I’d definitely raise some eyebrows lol
