Would it be possible? Would it sound good? Just would love there to be an instrument that combines the tone of the Koto with the resonance of Hindustani classical instruments.

Title pretty much sums it up. I’m looking for Progressive/ Technical Metal bands that often incorporate traditional instruments from Asia, particularly from India, Japan or China. Even if they’re just a keyboard sound. Shoot, I’ll even settle for bands that use Asian Folk-adjacent scales in their songwriting.
