Hello everyone, i am trying to switch from the homelab i set up on my old macbook air (i5 5250u, 4gb ram, 128gb storage, ubuntu server) to a pc build. Originally i was thinking of going mini pc but chatgpt convinced me that upgradability matters. The only requirement is 16gb ram for docker and trying kubernetes, it must also have 1gig networking and atleast 1 sata port if possible for a single drive raid. I dont think i need a gpu but if cheap enough ill include it in case i run AI in the future (around 4 to 6gb vram?) and i assume AM5?

Im sorry if a similar question has been asked before, cause if i go am5, more than half my budget will go in RAM
