For the last couple weeks I haven’t been getting notifications about my LR4. I’d tried turning notifications on and off within the whisker app as well as turning them on and off on the app. I’d tried deleting the app and reinstalling it. I’d tried power cycling the device and my phone multiple times.
The app itself connected and cycled the LR4 so I knew it was connecting alright.
I was about to open a support ticket with whisker when I finally thought to ask my wife “hey did you also stop getting the notifications for the litter robot?”
*Oh yeah I turned off the notifications in the app on my phone.* 🫠🫠
So PSA, if multiple users have the app installed on their phones but any one of them turn off the notifications, it kills the push notifications for everyone. Lesson learned lol
