We have a sizeable front lawn and smallish back lawn at our new home. it's pretty patchy with dandelions and some weeds. I'd love to mesh in an alternative because lawns suck. it'd be nice to have it still be good for lounging and playing lawn games on.

are there better native grasses or ground covers/meadowlike that I can add to take over??
